How to Upgrade Windows 10 Step by Step

With the widespread success of Microsoft's upgrades, some people are leaving Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Whether you are upgrading now or purchasing a copy later, we will provide tips and suggestions to guide you through this process.

Getting Started
Before you start the upgrade, it is a good idea to make sure that any peripherals you use are compatible with Windows 10. Printer manufacturers are better at ensuring compatibility with Windows 10 than previous operating system updates, but it is still wise. If you need help finding this data, PCMag has manufacturer-specific links and information. Although Microsoft's built-in compatibility checker should be able to solve these problems, it's best to check it yourself.

Next, you need to install all available Windows updates for your system. This can be done by accessing the control panel and selecting Windows Update (assuming you do not get updates automatically).

New installation or upgrade to place?
Now that your computer is ready to be upgraded, you have two choices: Do you want a new installation, or do you want to upgrade your existing operating system?

Common steps
The following instructions apply to both types of installation. Whether you are upgrading or a new installation, download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool first.

Run the application and select the "Create installation media" option as follows:

Before you are prompted to insert a flash drive for operating system installation, the next screen asks you to select the language, version, and architecture. If you want to burn it to a DVD or Blu-ray and install from that media, you can also choose to download the ISO. Keep in mind that any flash drive you choose for this purpose will be erased during this process.

Once the flash drive is ready, run the install application on the drive and choose whether you want to download and install the update immediately or update it later. Accept the license terms and you will see the following screen:
This is where you choose to install - new installations or in-place upgrades? If you want to keep your old operating system installation or at least your personal files, select these options. If you want to install the operating system and start over, this is where you have to do it.

After you install windows 10 that i think you will activate your Pc to make it genuine. You can go shop online to get cheap and genuine windows 10 key.
